We at Tata Capital incur expenses when we process your home loan application irrespective of whether you take the loan or not. Processing involves scrutiny of your application, verification of your documents, assessing your application, calculating your eligibility and so on. Our processing fee is minimal but non-refundable.

Loan Details (Amount & Tenure)

The minimum tenure for repaying NRI Home Loan is 1 year and the maximum time given to repay your NRI Home Loan is 15 years.

The maximum amount of money you can get from our Home Loan for NRI depends on your needs and eligibility.
Our interest rates start at 9.00% and are highly competitive.


To be eligible for our home loans for NRI, you have to be a non-resident Indian. You should be in the age group of 24 and 65 (At the time of completion of the Home Loan for NRI loan). A salaried customer should have total 3 years of work experience. Self-employed are not eligible.
  • Copy of valid passport showing VISA stamps.
  • Copy of valid visa / work permit / equivalent document supporting the NRI status of the proposed account holder
  • Latest contract copy evidencing Salary / Salary Certificate / Wage slip (latest W2 for USA, Latest P60 or IT returns for UK, work contract for UAE, Bahrain, latest IR8 for Singapore and latest B4 for Hong Kong).
  • Overseas Bank A/C for the last 6 months showing salary credits. If the customer has a local NRE/NRO account, the statement is mandatory.
  • As per the existing process, POA, KYC & Financial documents (salary slip & bank statement) have to be attested by Consulate or Notary Public of the respective country where the NRI is based.
