Xiaomi is now testing MIUI 10 with Android Q

Ever since Android came up with its first version in 2008, the operating system has revolutionised the mobile market. With each new version, it has established itself as the most popular interface for users. But when you hear that smartphone giant Xiaomi is all set to launch a phone combined with MI user interface version (MIUI) and Q, the latest version of Android, you know it doesn’t get bigger than this. Read on to know more about the much-expected launch-

Custom ROM-
Xiaomi is testing MIUI 11, styling it as its latest and one-of-a-kind read-only memory (ROM), and Android Q is expected to complement it perfectly. We can expect the smartphone giant to launch a flurry of phones this year including those from the Mi and Redmi cabals which will have MIUI and Android Q. These phones are expected to be much faster than existing Xiaomi devices due to the MIUI 11 and the latest version of the Android. As a pilot project, it appears that Xiaomi is testing this new combination on the transparent edition of Mi9.

Interface-
The exact interface and its specifications are not yet out in the public domain as Xiaomi, is at present, keeping most details about this new bit of technology under wraps. However, according to information already leaked in the market, the interface will have several new elements. But you can expect some new features such as a dark mode, which will be much more advanced than the existing ones offered in Xiaomi smartphones. If you are looking to purchase such a device right after its launch, apply now for a consumer durable loan so that money is not a constraint for you.

Expected features-
It is speculated that the Xiaomi MIUI 10 will have new features which will act as added incentives. One such feature is screen time, which is expected to be like the Digital Wellbeing app offered by Google. Screen time will present to you a complete picture of your digital habits which will help you to effectively monitor and change your daily schedule. The display of widgets will also be notably different in the MIUI 10 than other phones. Another rumoured change is a new launcher that these devices will have, different than the one used in phones such as Mi9.

Phone models-
The MIUI 10 coupled with Android Q is expected to be incorporated in several updated releases from Xiaomi this year and in the first half of 2020. Some of these are Redmi K20, Mi8, Mi Mix 3, Redmi Note 7 Pro along with Redmi Note 7. The Android Q is expected to substantially increase the speed and performance of these phones, making them popular among the tech-savvy demographic.
