What Are The Different Models Of Honda Activa? Which One Should You Buy?

The unprecedented success of the Honda Activa scooter can be primarily attributed to its sheer practicality, convenience and low maintenance. With the application of BS6 norms, the Honda Activa is now available only in 110cc and 125cc models.

If your credit score is fair enough, getting a two-wheeler loan to buy a Honda Activa shouldn’t be a problem. Before you apply for an online bike loan, you should know which among the available variants is the best for you.

Let’s see what each Honda Activa variant has to offer

Honda Activa 6G

The entry-level Activa is powered by an all-new 109.51cc engine, which generates a max power of 7.79 PS and max torque of 8.79Nm. The Honda Activa 6G variants include the 6G STD (Standard), 6G DLX (Deluxe), and the 6G 20th Anniversary Edition. The Honda Activa 6G price is in the range of Rs. 69,966 – Rs. 72,325 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Getting a zero down payment bike loan would be a little tricky with Activa as it is among the most popular offerings in the scooter segment.

This Activa model has been one of the most loved Honda scooters in India for years now. With a stylish design and smooth engine, Honda Activa 6G is among the most comfortable rides you can own.

STD

Above the 5G Activa, the 6G model gets increased dimensions, external fuel filler, a 12-inch front wheel, an ACG starter and telescopic front suspension. The mileage has also seen a jump of 10 per cent in Activa’s latest model. It comes with dual drum Brakes and spoke wheels, which makes it a reliable ride.

What’s more, Activa’s new model offers excellent mileage and a powerful 109.51 cc engine for a fantastic driving experience.

DLX

Although it is called a deluxe variant, it just gets an LED headlight over the standard variant. However, you will have to pay Rs 1,700 more for the LED. This Activa model also features dual drum brakes and spoke wheels. Featuring a max power 190.51 cc engine, Activa DLX won’t disappoint you with its performance. Key features include self-start, shutter lock, LED tail lights, ample under-seat storage, and more.

If you are looking for a reliable 110cc scooter with definitive looks and impressive pickup, you should go for the Honda Activa 6G. It is recommended to get the DLX variant with the LED for the extra oomph. Or you could also check out the electric version of this model. A two-wheeler loan is available for either of the Activa models.

20th Anniversary Edition

Looking for a scooter with premium looks and incredible performance? The Honda Activa 20th Anniversary edition offers you both. This Activa top model comes with enhanced looks and a 20th Anniversary logo on it. Moreover, it also gets an upgrade in the wheel department, with steel wheels instead of spoke wheels. This Activa new model comes with a programmed fuel injection feature, which uses a sensor-based advanced PGM-FI system that continuously adjusts the air-fuel mixture depending on the ride mode to facilitate complete combustion.

And not just that. The new engine platform combined with the eSP technology offers you 10% more mileage. The anniversary edition comes in both STD and DLX variants, priced at Rs. 72,203 and Rs. 73,949, respectively.

Honda Activa 125

The powerful iteration of the Activa series is equipped with a 124cc FI engine generating 8.29 PS of top power and 10.3Nm of peak torque. Here are the details about all Honda Activa 125 variants.

Standard

It gets all the bare basic features of Activa. If you are really tight on the budget and want a powerful scooter, the standard version of Activa 125 is a nice option to choose from. This variant comes with drum brakes. With a powerful 125cc engine and telescopic disk brakes, it will offer you a comfortable riding experience.

Alloy

This variant gets alloy wheels, an LED headlamp, a Digi-analogue meter console, an intelligent display, a side stand engine cut-off and a start-stop switch above the standard trim. This Activa new model delivers a certified mileage of 60kmpl, powered by a 123.97 cc engine. Besides, Activa offers you the highest level of safety with its scooter, as the Drum Alloy variant features an anti-theft alarm, combi brake system, service due indicator and so on.

However, you will need to pay Rs 3,600 more for these features. If you prefer style with practicality, you should go for this version.

Deluxe

This model gets the idling stop system and disc brakes over the features of the Alloy trim. This incurs an additional cost of Rs. 6,900. If safety and fuel-saving are your top priority, this is the best Honda Activa model to invest in.
