Maruti has upgraded the car and claims that the Wagon R CNG mileage is 34.05km/kg – up from 32.52km/kg. The previous vehicle was limited to the base LXi and LXi(0) trims. However, with the upgraded Wagon R CNG mileage, it is also available in a mid-spec VXi variant, adding a better kit for its premium pricing.
The price for the Wagon R CNG ranges from Rs. 6.35 lakh to Rs. 6.81 lakh.

2. Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 CNG
Alto mileage - 31.59 km/kg
Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 CNG has 39.4 bhp of power and 60 Nm of peak torque. It provides a sole 796 cc, three-cylinder engine with average price of the car ranging between Rs 4.89 lakh – Rs 4.95 lakh.
The Alto CNG mileage is claimed to be 31.59 km/kg, which is good comparing most of the CNG cars' mileage in the market. However, it is down by 7 bhp and 9 Nm from the petrol-powered Alto.

Maruti is currently offering this car only on the mid-spec VXi trim, which costs an additional Rs. 95,000 over the petrol car.
