How Exciting is 2019 for Bike Lovers?

If you are a motorbike (or even a scooter) aficionado, then you are in for a grand time choosing the two-wheeler of your dreams. You could choose a pricey Ducati if you want to splurge. You could become nostalgic and choose an iconic Jawa or Royal Enfield refurbished with modern technologies. You could be a budget shopper and you can choose from a large selection of pocket-friendly two wheelers. You could become environmentally friendly and choose an electric vehicle.

No matter what model you choose, you can assure yourself of availing a two-wheeler loan to own the two-wheeler of your choice.

Let’s look at some of the models slated for launch in 2019 in a little more detail.

Ducati Diavel 1260

An eagerly awaited release in the first few months of 2019 is the Ducati Diavel 1260 motorbike. This powerful bike hosts the 1262 cc V-twin engine that is liquid-cooled delivering 159 bhp of power and 129 Nm of torque. A six-speed transmission unit with a bi-directional quick-shifter responds instantaneously to any gear shifts. The other exciting features include three riding modes – eight-level traction control, Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and wheelie control. With several other features such as cornering ABS, the Ducati Diavel carries an expected price in excess of Rs 20 lakh (higher than the standard Ducati).

Jawa Perak

From 1960 to 1996, the Jawa motorbike was a cult figure. Now, after M & M has entered the fray it has made a strong comeback with three models – Jawa 300, Jawa 42 and Jawa Perak. While the first two have been launched, Jawa Perak will make an entry in the scheduled May 2019 launch.

Jawa Perak is a Bobber, custom-made in the factory. The custom-made features include dual exhaust (a first for Jawa motorbikes), single seat, tail lamps and rear fender, all enhancing the retro Bobber feel. The rear tire is also different, a shade larger than for other Jawa motorbikes. The Perak engine comes with a larger bore increasing the displacement substantially through a single cylinder 332 ccs 4 stroke DOHC unit liquid cooled. It produces 30 Bhp of peak power which is more than what competitors offer. The Perak sports a competitive price tag of Rs 1.89 lakh ex-showroom. While this amount may seem like a lot right now, a two-wheeler loan can help you make your dream of having this retro bike come true.
