Recently, tech giant Xiaomi unveiled its latest tech creations, the 60-inch Mi TV 4A and the 75-inch Mi TV 4A Pro, both smart TVs flaunting an inbuilt and upgraded Xiaomi UI-patch wall. The main highlight of this patch wall is that it functions through the support of a built-in XiaoAI Assistant which facilitates seamless interconnection and exchange of information from various IoT devices. Let’s take a look at the features and specifications of these Smart TVs

Mi TV 4A 60-inch: Features and specifications

The Mi TV 4A has a 4K display, a screen resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels, and is coupled with a 178-degree viewing angle, ensuring greater detail in each picture and video. It is powered by the Amlogic Cortex Quad-Core Cortex A53 processor and has a clock speed of 5 GHz for increased synchronization. The 4A has a RAM of 2GB and a storage capacity of 8GB with basic connectivity features (apart from Patch Wall) including WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth, 3 x HDMI, S/PDIF and has two USB ports and a standard Ethernet wire. Also, with 2 x 8w Bluetooth speakers, DTS audio and Dolby Audio systems you get a powerful stereo sound and bass play.

Mi Full Screen TV 4A Pro 75-inch: Features and specifications

The Mi TV 4A Pro has an Ultra HD 4K Smart QLED display with a screen resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels giving the 4A Pro a finer edge in its display quality and brighter picture clarity. Xiaomi vouches that it has up to a 63 percent increase in performance and up to a 55 percent boost in power efficiency as compared to the previous smart models. This is attributed to the 12nm Amlogic Cortex Quad-Core processor. In comparison to the 4A, the 4A Pro has a 32GB storage capacity but the internal RAM of 2GB remains the same. It has similar connectivity options and the same Dolby speaker systems as well. A distinctive feature of the 4A Pro is its 8K video playback capacity, made possible due to a 9th generation image processing engine.

Price and availability

There is a steep price difference between the 4A and 4A Pro TVs. If you’re in search of a budget friendly Smart TV, then the 4A is a sensible purchase and is priced around 281 US$ i.e. approximately Rs 21,470. The 4A Pro has premium features and is priced around 845 US$ i.e. around Rs 64,290. Both are expected to be available in the Chinese market from the 9th of April.
