HUAWEI Enjoy 10e with 6.3-inch Display & 5000mAh Battery Announced

Huawei has announced its latest offering in the economic Enjoy series of smartphones, Enjoy 10e. The budget smartphone has been introduced in China, and the specs are creating quite a stir. Here is a closer look at all that is on offer.

Processor

An octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 chipset powers Enjoy 10e, paired with a 4GB RAM, and clocks a 2.3GHz frequency. The phone comes with an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU to enhance the graphics and runs on Android 10 with EMUI 10 on top. Even with its budget price-tag, the performance of this phone will not be an issue.

Display

The phone has a sizeable 6.3-inch HD+ display panel supporting a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels for comfortable viewing. The curved glass display has a small waterdrop notch to house the selfie camera and packs an 88.4% screen-to-body ratio. The aspect ratio is an impressive 20:9. 

HUAWEI Enjoy 10e front camera

Camera

Enjoy 10e features a dual-camera setup at the top-left corner on the back of the phone. One lens is present on either side of the flash. The primary camera is of 13 MP with f/1.8 aperture and sports AI features. The secondary f/2.4 aperture 2MP depth sensor is excellent for portrait shots. Full HD video recording and PDAF are supported too. Enjoy 10e features an 8MP pop-up style front camera for taking selfies and shooting videos at 1080p.

Battery

A massive 5000mAh battery that supports reverse charging through OTG cable backs up Huawei Enjoy 10e. It supports only 10W charging, meaning it will not get charged too fast. However, the size of the battery paired with the HD+ display promises considerable screen time.

Memory

The latest budget smartphone from Huawei comes in two variants. One offers 64GB in-built storage, and the other presents 128GB onboard storage. Both can be expanded up to 512 GB via microSD cards.

Connectivity and other features

Huawei Enjoy 10e offers dual SIM support and comes with 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, a micro-USB charging port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Also, a powerful SuperSound feature allows louder and clearer audio output. Moreover, it is packed with EROFS file compression technology. Measuring 159.07 x 74.06 x 9.04mm and weighing 185 grams, Enjoy 10e is slim, eye-catching, and easy to carry. The phone lacks a fingerprint sensor, though.

Price and availability

Huawei Enjoy 10e will be available in three color options, Midnight Black, Pearl White, and Emerald Green. The 4GB RAM 64GB storage version is priced at approximately Rs 10,309 (999 Yuan) while the 4GB RAM, 128 GB storage variant will cost around Rs 12,375 (1199 Yuan). A 3GB RAM, 64GB storage variant is also on the cards, but details of its price are not available as of now. The phone is up for presale in China, and as per the manufacturer’s post on Weibo, Enjoy 10e will be available for sale from March 5, 2020.
