What is Ground?

Ground is among the oldest measurement units used for land, properties, or construction projects.  Since the popularity of international units of land measurement, this unit has been replaced with much more common measurement units. One ground is equal to 5.51 Cents. This unit is widely used in the southern states of India, such as Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra and Gujarat.
