Pramod is a founding Partner of the Tata Capital Growth Fund, which has raised US$ 240 million since inception. Pramod joined Tata Capital in April 2008 and since then has evaluated, sourced and consummated a variety of investments. He is experienced across private equity, public equity and investment banking in India and the United Kingdom.
Pramod was a Director at Deutsche Bank, Mumbai in their Principal Investments division before joining Tata Capital where he was involved in three transactions in the Industrials, Hospitality and Manufacturing space deploying over $200 million.
Prior to Deutsche Bank, Pramod spent close to two years at SVG Capital, London in the Chief Executive's office focusing on business development. At SVG he established an Indian strategy and worked on various structured products. Prior to SVG, Pramod was at Argent Fund Management, UK, investing in the Healthcare, Retail and Financial services sector in the UK and the US. Before Argent, Pramod worked in the Project Finance advisory business of J. Henry Schroder & Company, UK with a special emphasis on the power sector.
Pramod started his career with IL&FS, Mumbai in 1995 as a manager in the US$ 100 million AIG Indian Sectoral Equity Fund.
He holds an MBA from Clark University and a Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University and is an active member of Mumbai Angels, the British Business Group and the Indo-Canadian Business Chamber.

Since joining Tata Capital in 2009, Akhil has raised US$ 240 million from International as well as Indian LPs with a final close in November 2011. Akhil is actively involved in portfolio management through presence on Board and other committees. He is experienced across the financial services sector - private equity, asset management and corporate banking.
Akhil was one of the founding members of Barings India Private Equity and was involved in all stages of the private equity lifecycle - creating an investment proposition, fund raising, investment and successful divestment. Akhil was also a founding member of India's first private sector mutual fund ITI Pioneer AMC (now Franklin Templeton) where he was responsible for pharmaceutical, software and automobile sectors. Prior to entering the investment business, Akhil worked in corporate banking with ANZ Grindlays Bank.
Akhil holds a BE from Jiwaji University and an MBA from University of Delhi. He completed the prestigious Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2009.
Akhil is an elected member of the Executive Committee of Indian Private Equity & Venture Capital Association and a member of Indian Management Association.

Vineet joined Tata Capital in December 2009 and is a part of the leadership team which successfully raised and managed investments relating to the Tata Capital Innovations Fund. Vineet's experience is across private equity, investment banking and shop floor manufacturing.
Prior to joining Tata Capital he was with Old Lane PE responsible for investments in Indian Infrastructure sector and earlier with Ernst & Young and SBI Capital Markets in their Investment Banking businesses.
Vineet received a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela and Masters Degree in Finance from Delhi University. He is also a CFA Charter holder.

Visalakshi Chandramouli is the Founding Partner of Tata Capital Healthcare Fund, an India dedicated Healthcare & Life Sciences Private Equity Fund. She has spent over two decades across Healthcare Private Equity, Equity Research and Pharmaceutical R&D operations.
Visalakshi presently heads the Tata Capital Healthcare Fund and drives the fund raising and investment management activities of the fund. She has successfully led the fund raise of Tata Capital Healthcare Fund with commitments from global investor base as well as deployment of the fund commitments. She is actively involved in portfolio management through presence on Board and other committees of Investee companies. Chandramouli started her career as a research scientist at Cipla, a global pharmaceutical company and thereafter, spent over 12 years as Lead Healthcare investment analyst at leading financial services firms like Kotak Securities and Merrill Lynch where she was Senior Director of India Healthcare Equity Research and rated No. 2 in Asia for Healthcare for 2008 on the prestigious Institutional Investor (II) poll rankings (rated No. 3 in 2007).
Visalakshi brings on board a deep experience of technical skills within the pharmaceutical industry as well as commercial & investment experience in the industry. In her previous two roles at DSP Merrill Lynch and Kotak Securities for close to a decade, she had been involved in executing IPO/ADS transactions aggregating to value of ~US$400 million for Indian pharmaceutical companies. In her present role, apart from sourcing, and execution of private equity transactions for the Fund, Visalakshi has been responsible for creating an ecosystem of active operating advisors and drive value-addition initiatives for the Fund's portfolio companies.
Visalakshi is a Chemical Technologist from ICT Mumbai (specialization in pharmaceuticals & fine chemicals) and MBA (finance) from Mumbai University. She is a graduate in Advanced Management Program (AMP) from the Harvard Business School. In 2015, Visalakshi certified as TBEM (Tata Business Excellence Model) External Assessor for Tata Group Companies. Visalakshi has been nominated by FICCI (The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) for the 'Women on Corporate Boards' Mentorship program.

Sanjay joined Tata Capital Private Equity in August 2010. Prior to joining the Tata Capital Growth Fund in April, 2015, he was with the Tata Capital Healthcare Fund where he led the investments in four companies and served on the board of 2 companies. He is experienced across private equity, transactions, and strategy consulting.
As a strategy consultant, he has extensively advised private equity funds and companies on transactions. Sanjay has led and supervised more than 30 transactions and related engagements that have included strategic and business due diligences, deal structuring, fund raising, negotiations, and monitoring of 100 day agenda, post transaction closure.
Prior to joining Tata Capital, Sanjay ran his own advisory practice focused on healthcare transactions and consulting. He was one of the founder members of the India practice of Strategic Decisions Group (SDG), a boutique strategy consulting firm based out of Palo Alto. He started the transactions and private equity practice of SDG in India.
Sanjay has around 20 years of experience and has an MBA from Columbia Business School, Columbia University, New York city and Asian Institute of Management, Manila. He has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.

Vamesh joined Tata Capital in March 2015 as Partner of the Tata Capital Healthcare Fund. He has over 25+ years of experience in investment banking and private equity advisory. His experience spans managing investments and advising businesses across multiple industries. Vamesh co-lead's the healthcare fund team and will be actively involved in managing the full lifecycle of new fundraising, investing, portfolio management and divestments.
Prior to joining Tata Capital, Vamesh was the Managing Director of New Enterprise Associates (India) Pvt. Ltd.(NEA), an affiliate of US based venture capital firm and he was focused on investing in Pharma and Lifesciences sectors where he led investments in a company engaged in manufacturing of radiation therapy equipment and a company developing digital medical education courseware.
Prior to joining NEA, he served as a Director, Kotak Private Equity Group, where he was responsible for originating transactions and investing in several companies across a wide variety of sectors viz. Logistics, Retail, Infrastructure, Financial Services apart from Life Sciences and Pharmaceuticals. During his stint with Kotak, he has experienced a full life cycle of successful fund raising, investing and exiting businesses.
Prior to his stint with Kotak, Vamesh worked with leading investment banks such as Enam Financial, ICICI Securities, Prime Securities, Standard Chartered Bank and Canbank. For a large part of his career, he has focused on private equity advisory and has successfully structured transactions across multiple sectors including IT and ITES, media and entertainment, healthcare, retailing, logistics, telecom, textiles, and oil and gas related services.

Mahesh Jaokar is Vice President, Finance at Tata Capital and handles Fund Accounting and Administration, including Investor Relationships. He has 16 years of experience in Risk Management, Audit, Treasury Management, Reporting, Strategy and planning, Accounting and Investor Relations.
Mahesh handles the Fund Accounting and Administration, including Investor Relationships. He has experience in Risk Management, Audit, Treasury Management, Reporting, Strategy and planning, Accounting and Investor Relations. He is also the CFO and Head of Risk Management of Tata Securities Limited.
Prior to joining Tata Capital, he has held positions of CFO at HDFC Securities and IDFC-SSKI. Mahesh started his career with HDFC Bank and he has also worked with Organizations like KPMG and DSP Merrill Lynch.

Bobby started his career in 1998 and has experience in consulting and private equity sectors. He has been with Tata Capital since October 2007, being one of the founding members of the private equity team at Tata Capital. Bobby was assigned to the Tata Opportunities Fund in early 2010 as the first member of the Fund's advisory team.
Prior to Tata Capital, he was as a strategy consultant at Tata Strategic Management Group where he helped establish the firm's Private Equity franchise advising on over US$ 450 million of private equity and M&A transactions. He started his career with the TVS Group.
Bobby secured his MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University. In 2000, the Confederation of Indian Industry honoured Bobby as a Young Business Leader of Tomorrow.

Gautham joined Tata Capital in 2013 and has been a private equity investor since 2001. Previously, he was a Director with Actis in Mumbai and a Principal at Warburg Pincus in London. His investing and board level experience covers the technology, business services, financial services, industrial and consumer sectors including venture, growth and leveraged buyouts.
Gautham started his career in 1995 with JP Morgan in London handling Fixed Income and Mergers & Acquisitions. He has also worked at the BBC, Cricinfo, and at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland.
Gautham graduated with an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France. He also holds an MA (Scholar) from St John's College, University of Cambridge and a M.Sc. in Computer Science from Imperial College, University of London.
Head, Tata Capital Special Situations Fund - Trust
Ramkumar conceptualized and heads the Tata Capital Special Situations Fund. He successfully completed the fund raising from the large PSU banks in India. Prior to joining Tata Capital, he was Vice-President (Corporate Affairs) & Secretary of Tata AutoComp Systems Limited, the auto-component arm of the Tatas.
He was a key member of its top management, since inception to its growth to over INR 30 billion of turnover in a span of about 12 years. His major contributions there include the negotiating and structuring of 12 joint ventures with global Tier I auto component suppliers, facilitating technology transfer and assimilation; successfully divesting non-core businesses and leading its first global foray through the acquisition of an Interiors business in Germany. In its initial years, he was responsible for setting up and managing the finance, legal and secretarial function and later, he had the additional responsibility of acting CFO for about two years.
Ramkumar was also responsible for restructuring underperforming companies and in some cases, divestments and re-organization, besides being part of the M&A team evaluating multi-billion dollar listed global corporations for possible acquisitions. Prior to that, he worked in companies such as Forbes Campbell, Voltas, BASF (India) and RAS Extrusions.
Sinha, Padmanabh (Paddy)
Managing Partner, Tata Opportunities Fund
Paddy started his career in 1995 and has experience spanning private equity, entrepreneurship & investment banking, with a track record of driving investments, portfolio management and divestments.
Paddy joined Tata Capital in February 2011 after having previously worked at Temasek Holdings, where he was the Managing Director - India. He was part of Temasek's founding team in India and during his tenure there also led global special projects for Temasek. He has worked with ICICI Venture previously, as well as an entrepreneur when he was the President of an e-learning company operating under the eGurucool- brand. The company was funded by ChrysCapital, STAR TV and International Finance Corporation, and Paddy eventually sold the business to a listed Indian corporation. Paddy has served on several corporate boards, including select Tata companies.
Paddy is an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and a Computer Science engineering graduate from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (Pilani), India.
Senior Vice President, Private Equity
Ashutosh works across the current PE funds with close involvement in activities related to setting up of new funds. He joined Tata Capital in October 2011 and before moving to the Private Equity business in April 2012, he was deputed as the CEO of a company supported by Tata Capital in the area of education and entertainment.
Prior to joining Tata Capital, Ashutosh was the Vice President and head of Projects at Tata Industries, one of the holding companies of the Tata group besides Tata Sons. His team led investments in high technology space, started new ventures in the emerging services sector besides managing a sector agnostic portfolio of 18 companies across global geographies. He helped guide the strategy and profitable growth of various companies many a times as a Director on the Board. He has been a Director on the Board of 11 companies since 2005 ranging from Tata group Joint Ventures with international majors to technology start-ups outside India to Greenfield projects (~ US$ 2 billion) to large operational companies.
Ashutosh joined the Tata group through its premier leadership program called Tata Administrative Service (TAS) in May 1999. He did significant stints at Tata Global Beverages and Tata Teleservices prior to joining Tata Industries in 2005. He has significant experience in functions such as sales, marketing, business development, supply chain and product management across other assignments at Titan, Tata Motors and Tata Internet.
Ashutosh is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School and is a founding member of the leadership council of the Harvard Club of Mumbai spearheading activities in the Arts and Culture space.
