“ Business was booming, we were looking to open another Rolls Kitchen in Kolkata and then the pandemic hit us like a storm. Orders came to a halt, our food stock perished, but we kept the staff with pay cuts.

A month went by and we started adjusting to the new normal, then another and another until we realised that things were never going to be the same. We realised that we had to change.

We needed to relook our entire operations. We needed sterilisation equipment, door sanitizers, thermal scanners, partitions to keep the kitchen and the dining area separated etc. These added a lot to our costs. With our funds depleting, opening even one location was seeming daunting.

But we had to, so we applied for a Business Loan from Tata Capital online, and we waited for the funds to come, we didn’t have to wait long and now we’re still opening at two locations. We’re excited and look forward to this coming year“
