Padmanabh (Paddy) Sinha

Managing Partner, Tata Opportunities Fund

Paddy started his career in 1995 and has experience spanning private equity, entrepreneurship & investment banking, with a track record of driving investments, portfolio management and divestments.

Paddy joined Tata Capital in February 2011 after having previously worked at Temasek Holdings, where he was the Managing Director - India. He was part of Temasek's founding team in India and during his tenure there also led global special projects for Temasek. He has worked with ICICI Venture previously, as well as an entrepreneur when he was the President of an e-learning company operating under the eGurucool brand. The company was funded by ChrysCapital, STAR TV and International Finance Corporation, and Paddy eventually sold the business to a listed Indian corporation. Paddy has served on several corporate boards, including select Tata companies.

Paddy is an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and a Computer Science engineering graduate from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (Pilani), India.


Gautham Radhakrishnan

Partner, Tata Opportunities Fund

Gautham joined Tata Capital in 2013 having been a private equity investor since 2001 with Warburg Pincus in London and then Actis in Mumbai. His investing, exit and board level experience is across 15+ companies across industry sectors from venture to growth and buyouts. Previously Gautham started his career in 1995 with JP Morgan in Mergers & Acquisitions and Fixed Income and Mergers & Acquisitions. He has also worked at the BBC, Cricinfo, and at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland..

Gautham graduated with an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France. He also holds an MA (Scholar) from St John's College, University of Cambridge and a M.Sc. in Computer Science from Imperial College, University of London.


Bobby Pauly

Partner, Tata Opportunities Fund

Bobby started his career in 1998 and has experience in consulting and private equity sectors. He has been with Tata Capital since October 2007, being one of the founding members of the private equity team at Tata Capital. Bobby was assigned to the Tata Opportunities Fund in early 2010 as the first member of the Fund�s advisory team.

Prior to Tata Capital, he was as a strategy consultant at Tata Strategic Management Group where he helped establish the firm's Private Equity franchise advising on over US$ 450 million of private equity and M&A transactions. He started his career with the TVS Group.

Bobby secured his MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University. In 2000, the Confederation of Indian Industry honoured Bobby as a Young Business Leader of Tomorrow.



Bhavya Gulati

Director, Tata Opportunities Fund

Bhavya joined Tata Capital in August 2012 having previously supported Mr. R.K. Krishnakumar, a Tata Sons board member, as Director-Mergers & Acquisitions.

He has extensive work experience spanning Project Finance Advisory and Corporate M&A with leading global organizations - ICICI, Lazard, KPMG and L&T. He also had a deal experience of over US$ 800 million prior to joining the team.

Bhavya is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a Masters Degree in International Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics.


Rishaad Bilimoria

Principal, Tata Opportunities Fund

Rishaad joined Tata Capital in August 2011 having previously worked at JM Financial Private Equity Fund, a US$ 225 million growth capital private equity fund.

At JM Financial, Rishaad was involved in closing 4 transactions, including 1 successful exit, as well as evaluating multiple investment proposals across sectors. Rishaad has also worked with JP Morgan Chase in the investment banking group in New York and London.

Rishaad holds a Bachelor's degree from Harvard University and an MBA from the London Business School.


Ritesh Mandot

Vice President, Tata Opportunities Fund

Ritesh joined Tata Capital in January 2013 having previously worked with the private equity arm of Reliance Industries (GenNext Ventures), Milestone Religare and MAPE Advisory.

He has extensive work experience spanning Private Equity and Investment Banking with a cumulative transaction record of US$ 500 million in value.

Ritesh secured his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and has a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani.


Musaed Noorani

Vice President, Tata Opportunities Fund

Musaed joined Tata Capital in April 2012 and was previously a consultant with the Monitor Group, a strategy consulting firm. Musaed comes from a reputed business family and has experience in strategy consulting as well as equity research with Credit Suisse and Barclays.

Musaed graduated from the MBA program of the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and holds an undergraduate degree in Commerce from Mumbai University.


Anirudh Mandhana

Associate, Tata Opportunities Fund

Anirudh joined Tata Capital in September 2016 having previously worked at J. P. Morgan's investment banking division in Mumbai where he was part of the India Coverage team.While at J.P. Morgan he worked across sectors including real estate, technology and healthcare. He has also worked at System2 Capital, a long short equity hedge fund in London and MSCI, an equity index research provider.

Anirudh graduated from London Business School and also holds an MSc (Economics) and BE (Electronics & Instrumentation) from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (Pilani), India.


Moin Danawala

Analyst, Tata Opportunities Fund

Moin joined Tata Capital in September 2014 having previously worked at J. P. Morgan's investment banking division where he was part of the Power and Utility - M&A and Capital markets advisory team in New York and Mumbai. While at J.P. Morgan he worked across segments of power, utility, and renewable energy industry.

Moin graduated with a distinction from Jaihind College, Mumbai University, where he earned his Bachelors in Management Studies with a major in Finance.


Maya Tata

Analyst, Tata Opportunities Fund

Maya joined Tata Capital in July 2015 having previously worked at an investment management firm, Henderson Global Investors in London. While at Henderson she worked as an Analyst on the multi-asset team, responsible for preparing macroeconomic and asset allocation research.

She is a Post Graduate in Investment Management from Cass Business School, London and B.Sc. in Industrial Economic from University of Warwick, London.
