Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T to Launch Soon in India

The Chinese smartphone giant, Xiaomi, has had many releases in India this year, and all of them have been huge successes. With the year coming to end, Xiaomi is gearing up, yet again, for a new smartphone launch. In addition to the brand’s Note series, the soon-to-be launched, Redmi Note 8T is creating all the right waves and is expected to hit the market soon. We decided to dig up more and here’s what we found.

Standout Design & Dot Drop Display

As per the speculations and leaked images, Redmi Note 8T looks exactly like its predecessor, Note 8, that was launched in India earlier this month. Note 8T is speculated to have an IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 1080×2340 pixels for a sharper than ever image quality. Equipped with a 6.30-inch touchscreen, the smartphone has Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and back. The phone’s premium grade, gradient finish adds to the phone’s style quotient. Redmi Note 8T is being launched in three colour variants - white, blue, and black.

Advanced Camera to Capture Every Detail

Redmi Note 8T is said to sport a 48MP quad rear camera setup. Rumours suggest that the smartphone will offer four cameras on the rear and a dot drop notch on the front. The notch also supports the selfie camera. Features like digital zoom, auto flash, face detection, and touch to focus will be the highlights of the phone’s camera. The 20MP front-facing selfie camera further adds to the phone’s appeal.

Long-lasting Battery with 18W Fast Charging

You can now leave your power banks at home, as Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T is expected to be powered by a 4000mAh non-removable battery, that can support up to 10 hours of unlimited gaming. With 18W fast charging, the phone can be fully charged in 2 hours.

Superior Performance for a Smooth Experience

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T is expected to be powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, thereby, ensuring a fast and smooth performance of multiple apps and mobile games. The smartphone will be launched in three storage variants- 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage, and 4GB RAM with 128GB internal storage.

Multifunctional NFC

The new 8T also offers a small incremental update over Note 8, with the multi-purpose NFC support.

Launch and Price

Reports suggest that the 4GB + 64GB storage variant will be priced at EUR 199.94 that roughly converts to Rs 15,500.

Xiaomi is yet to confirm the launch date of Redmi Note 8T. However, considering the rumours and leaks flooding the internet, you can expect the phone to launch very soon.
