The unprecedented success of the Honda Activa scooter can be largely attributed to its sheer practicality, convenience and low maintenance. With the application of BS6 norms, the Honda Activa is now available only in 110cc and 125cc models.

If your credit score is fair enough, getting a two wheeler loan to buy a Honda Activa shouldn’t be a problem. Before you apply for an online bike loan, you should know which among the available variants is the best for you. Let’s see what each Honda Activa variant has to offer:

Honda Activa 6G

The entry-level Activa is powered by an all-new 109.51cc engine, which generates a max power of 7.79 PS and max torque of 8.79Nm. It is offered in two variants – 6G STD (Standard) and 6G DLX (Deluxe). The Honda Activa 6G price is in the range of Rs. 64,464 – Rs. 65,964 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Getting a zero down payment bike loan would be a little tricky with the Activa as it is among the most popular offerings in the scooter segment.

STD

Above the 5G Activa, the 6G model gets increased dimensions, external fuel filler, a 12-inch front wheel, ACG starter and telescopic front suspension. The mileage has also seen a jump of 10 per cent in the latest version.

DLX

Although it is called a deluxe variant, it just gets an LED headlight over the standard variant. However, you will have to pay Rs 1,500 more for the LED.

If you are looking for a reliable 110cc scooter with definitive looks and impressive pickup, you should go for the Activa 6G. It is recommended to get the DLX variant with the LED for the extra oomph. A bike loan is available for either of the Activa models.

The powerful iteration of the Activa series is equipped with a 124cc FI engine generating 8.29 PS of top power and 10.3Nm of peak torque. It is priced in the range of Rs. 68,042 – Rs. 75,042 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Activa 125 is available in three variants – Standard, Alloy and Deluxe.

Standard

It gets all the bare basic features of the Activa. If you are really tight on the budget and want a powerful scooter, the standard version of Activa 125 is a nice option to choose.

Alloy

This variant gets alloy wheels, LED headlamp, digi-analogue meter console, intelligent display, side stand engine cut-off and start-stop switch above the standard trim. However, you will need to pay Rs 3,500 more for these features. If you prefer style with practicality, you should go for this version.

Deluxe

This model gets the idling stop system and disc brakes over the features of the Alloy trim. This incurs an additional cost of Rs 3,500. If safety and fuel-saving is your top priority, investing this amount should be a no-brainer.
