TVS NTORQ 125 Review

TVS NTORQ 125 Review

Termed as the most technologically advanced scooter in India, the TVS Ntorq is nothing short of a stunner. The Indian automotive industry is witnessing the 2.0 phase of scooters - thanks to the Activas which lifted this almost perished segment back again in the early 2000s. Moreover, the spending capacity of buyers has also increased along with easy access to two wheeler loan and bike loan options.

The craving for power among youths has forced scooter makers to come up with powerful versions of their two-wheelers. Though these scooters are priced slightly higher, there are many two wheeler finance companies which offer good deals when you opt for a two wheeler loan from them. With regards to the TVS Ntorq, let’s see if this scooter is worth the bucks or not.

Style

TVS says the design of the Ntorq 125 is inspired by the stealth fighter aircraft. A look at the afterburner-like vents at the tail seconds this fact. The front has the usual V-shaped look with the headlamp in the center. TVS has preferred to use halogen lights with bright LED DRLs instead of the LEDs.

It comes in 4 color options - matte yellow, matte white, matte green and matte red. The dual-tone, matte-finished paint looks chic. The cuts and creases with carbon texture all around exude class in every way.

The rear is probably the best in the current two-wheeler category. It’s sporty yet decent. The build quality, fit and finish of the scooter are top-notch. The 12-inch alloys are beautifully designed.

Performance

Built on an all-new chassis, the Ntorq is powered by a 125cc engine which delivers 9.4PS of max power at 7500rpm and max torque of 10.5nm at 5500rpm. It gets 155mm of ground clearance. The suspension of the TVS Ntorq is perfectly balanced with a mix of sportiness and comfort. It’s easy to handle the scooter - thanks to the 116kg of weight and chunky tires. Even for shorter riders, the tapering seat is a big boon.

Features

It has an engine kill switch along with external fuel filler for easy access. There is a good amount of storage space underneath the seat, but not enough to hold a helmet. Interestingly, it comes with a boot light, USB charger and pass light switch.

Competition

The Ntorq competes against the likes of Honda Grazia, Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access 125.

Price

The TVS Ntorq is priced in the bracket of Rs 58,872 to Rs 62,995. You can opt for a bike loan in India from many prominent two wheeler finance companies. Instead of trusting the dealer, you should compare different two wheeler loan options before opting for a particular bike loan. Whether you reside in rural or urban areas, finding a good two wheeler finance company should not be a problem with a widespread network of such companies.

You can apply for a two-wheeler loan from Tata Capital to get easy EMI options and low-interest rates.
