There has been an ongoing debate on which is the best SUV – Toyota Innova Crysta or Mahindra XUV 500. While Toyota is known for its comfortable rides, Mahindra is famous for its robust built cars. Exterior design The design of the Crysta is beefy and bulky. There is a huge front grille that is hexagonal. It also has a dual chrome slat that runs horizontally. The headlamps are wide. It comes with integrated LED daytime running lights. The front bump comes with fog lights.  The design of the XUV 500 is aggressive, rugged and tough. It serves as a flagship model for the company.  It has a menacing look with its vertically slated front grille. The fog lamps are designed in a way that it looks like one single unit with the headlamps. This car comes with uniquely designed LED lights that run in the daytime and clusters with wide headlights. 
Build quality Crysta is known for its robust build quality. Here, hands down, Crysta beats XUV 500.  XUV 500 lags behind Crysta in terms of build quality. However, it is a value for money SUV that is well-engineered. 
Space in the car In terms of space, Crysta clean bowls XUV 500. Although it is not as wide as XUV 500, it certainly comes with enough comfortable head and legroom. It can accommodate up to eight people and comes with comfortable captain seats in the second row. Although XUV 500 is wider than Crysta, it falls behind when it comes to head and legroom. It can accommodate up to 7 people and has third-row seats.
Features in the car Three air-bags, middle rear headrest, seat belt warning, brake assistant, and speed sensing door lock are some of the features. It also comes with a driver’s armrest, manual 3rd-row seat adjustments, adjustable front and rear headrests, touch screen display, 4 speakers, and audio streaming in Bluetooth.  There are two air-bags, tire pressure monitoring system, seat belt warning, traction control system, keyless central locking, and automatic climate control. Other key features include 12V power outlets, cruise control, 6 driver power seat adjustments, lumbar support for drivers, dual-tone interiors, and drivers armrest. What you also get are electrically adjustable ORVM, rain-sensing wipers, roof rails, daytime running LEDs, automatic headlamps, and rear reading lamps. GPS navigating system, phone and audio streaming Bluetooth, voice command, iPod capability and steering mounted control are some of the other great features of XUV 500.
