Design
While a lot of S1 Air looks similar to its more expensive siblings - the S1 and S1 Pro, it is the finer details where there are differences to spot. The Ola S1 Air comes equipped with a relatively less powerful 4.5kW motor which allows it to attain a top speed of 85kmph. The e-scooter can go from 0 to 40kmph in 4.3 seconds.
In comparison, the S1 and S1 Pro have an 8.5kW motor that allows them to draw much more power efficiently. Not to say, the S1 and the S1 Pro have a maximum speed of 95kmph and 116kmph, respectively. Furthermore, the S1 Pro even packs in a Hyper mode, a rarity in its price range, which further enables it to draw maximum power from its motor.

The more powerful S1 e-scooter can be bought at home for INR 99,999 (ex-showroom). However, if a buyer is looking for more power, the S1 Pro can be purchased by paying slightly more as it starts at INR 1,39,999 (ex-showroom).
The brand offers a standard warranty of 3 years/ 40,000km (whichever is earlier) for all its S1 variants. In addition, buyers can also benefit from a three-year battery warranty. If a buyer wants an extended warranty, they can avail of an additional two years/ 20,000km coverage at an additional cost.
Range comparison

At INR 84,999, the S1 Air offers ample bang for the buck for regular users. While the power users may feel the lack of enough horsepower, it is an excellent e-scooter for the daily commute and occasional trips.
