New Sedans To Look Out For In 2020

While the popularity of crossovers and SUVs is at an all-time high in the Indian automobile sector, sedans still haven’t fallen out of favor. Despite the rising demand of tough-looking vehicles, there are enough takers for sedans. This is why carmakers are ready to launch new models and variants periodically.

This year too shall witness the launch a slew of sedans. These cars are often seen as a status symbol and hence, are never out of fashion even among second hand cars.

Just like the new ones, buying second-hand cars is easy with a used car loan that involves minimal paperwork.

So, if you are not someone in the market for SUVs and crossovers, here is a list of some classy sedans that will probably see a 2020 launch:

The updated 2020 Verna will see a redesigned fascia and cascade grille at the front. Said to get similar design elements as seen on the Russia-spec (Hyundai Solaris) model, it will feature BS6-compliant powertrain choices in its line-up. To be powered by a Kia Seltos-borrowed 1.5L, 4-cylinder petrol engine that gives out 113bhp of power and torque value of 144Nm, it will come in a diesel variant too. Chances are bright of it being fitted with a 6-speed MT or a refined CVT gearbox.

New Honda City

Looking at the fabulous reincarnation of the Civic, the all-new City is also expected to light up the floor with its alluring charm. The highly anticipated C-segment sedan will receive top-notch design elements inside and outside. There will be notable upgrades and changes in the cabin layout, while the equipment list will feature more advance tech inside the cabin. Under the hood will be the BS6 compliant i-VTEC (petrol) and i-DTEC (diesel) engines with manual and automatic gearbox choices.

Skoda Superb 2020

The 2020 Superb was showcased at the Auto Expo in February last month. It will be presented in two trims, namely - Sportline and L&K. The flagship Skoda sedan features BS6-compliant 2.0L petrol and diesel engines.

The new Superb appeared high on style with its curved roof profile, sporty frontage and robust front hood. Moreover, the sides see blacked-out B-pillar, stylish alloys and ORVMs with sleek side blinkers. The sharp-looking LED taillights, twin exhausts and glossy boot complete its rear look.

If you cannot wait for the impending sedans, you can always opt for their current iterations. Moreover, if short on budget, you can buy used cars by availing a loan from Tata Capital. The company boasts of a reliable track record when it comes to affordable loan plans and has a customer-centric approach.
