An Indian release date of June 17th has been confirmed for the Samsung Galaxy A21, via the Twitter account used by its Indian branch of operations. A teaser clip was posted as part of the post on the morning of June 15th, which emphasised the long lasting battery life boasted by the newest addition to the Galaxy A range of smartphones. The model is expected to build on the success of previous entries to Samsung’s Galaxy A series of smartphones in a more affordable price range.

Features:

The Galaxy A21 comes with features such as an immersive Infinity-O display with a 6.5 inch HD+ screen. This coupled with the 20:9 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound allows for an immersive visual experience regardless of whether you are gaming or watching videos. The quad camera provides a range of options with intelligent photography features that allow you to capture professional looking shots and clips, whether they are close ups or wide angle landscapes, at a breathtaking level of clarity. Live Focus as well as the wide array of filters, stickers and background effects allow you to personalize and get creative with your photo reel.

Rear Fingerprint Sensors and Face Recognition allow you to conveniently gain secure access to your device with minimal effort,while the OneUI core comes with features such as one handed navigation and dark mode. The device’s 5,ooo mAh battery and 15W fast charging allow you to use it for extended periods with minimal charging requirements. Its sleek design with rounded corners and limited bezels are ideally proportioned for one handed use.

Colour variants for the Galaxy A21s would include options in Black, White, Blue, and Red. This newest addition to Samsung’s Galaxy A series of smartphones is to be made available in three versions which include a base model with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage, a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version as well as a 6GB RAM model with 64GB of internal storage. A micro SD slot has also been incorporated into the phone’s design, which would allow for expansion of its internal storage up to 512GB.

Pricing:

This mid range model is the fourth addition to the Samsung Galaxy A series of smartphones in India. The South Korean tech giant had launched the slightly more expensive Galaxy A51, A71 and A31 models prior to this, with the Galaxy A51 doing particularly well in this class of smartphones. The UK launch of the Galaxy A21 occurred just a month ago, with the model set to go on sale on June 19th, priced at 179 pounds(approximately Rs. 17,000). The Galaxy A21 is expected to be priced around Rs. 16,000 for the base model(3GB RAM/ 32 GB storage) and between Rs. 17,000 and Rs. 19,000 for the higher end versions, although announcements confirming this are yet to be made but whatever the price gets decided you can still grab this mobile on emi.
