Samsung Galaxy S11 is rumoured to be Launched in India by October 2019

Samsung Galaxy S11 is rumoured to be Launched in India by October 2019

Samsung Galaxy S10 is only a few months old and apparently, the company has started working on its successor, Galaxy S11. Considering the success of Galaxy S10, majorly due to its camera features, we can expect a lot from Galaxy S11. Rumour has it that the phone is going to hit the markets soon. So, if you plan to upgrade your smartphone and have not bought Galaxy S10 yet, then it will be worth waiting for S11. Although Samsung has not made any official announcements about the phone, some leaks have been doing the rounds on the internet. Here are six things we know about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S11 smartphone.

Codename-Picasso: Samsung has internally started to call the upcoming Galaxy S11 ‘Picasso’- after the famous Spanish painter known for his spectacular use of colours. This is not surprising as the brand has named its popular device, Galaxy Note 10, as ‘da Vinci’, previously.

A new front design: According to some reliable leaks, Galaxy S11 will feature a front-facing camera smaller than Note 10. Samsung Note 10 is a popular smartphone known for its small drop front-facing camera. So, we can imagine the kind of camera Galaxy s11 will sport. It will certainly deliver a higher screen to body ratio. However, apart from the change in the position of the front camera, the overall design of Galaxy S11 would be somewhat like Note 10 and Galaxy S10.

Headphone jack and microSD slot dumped: Samsung might dump the all-time favourite 3.5mm audio jack and memory card slot in the upcoming Galaxy S11. We have seen Samsung getting rid of the audio jack in all the note 10 versions. This makes it more certain that Galaxy S11 will drop the audio jack and microSD in its flagship phone.

More and better cameras: Samsung has been using the same 12-megapixel lenses since it launched Galaxy S7 in 2006. The South Korean mobile company has been outperforming Huawei and Sony in terms of camera. Moreover, the codename ‘Picasso’ gives us an idea of the greatness of the phone. We can expect Galaxy S11 to boast a new camera module, maybe with more megapixels or better zoom features than Note 10 series.

Insane battery capacity: The leaks reveal that Samsung is working on graphene instead of a lithium-ion battery. This modern technology will refill your depleted battery from zero to hundred percent in just 30 minutes.

Price and release date: Samsung Galaxy S11 is expected to launch on 25 October 2019 in India. It is speculated that the phone will cost Rs 73,990 in India.
