With its motto of ‘Dare To Leap’, Realme has made quite a few leaps in the cluttered Indian smartphone market and managed to catch our fancy everytime it came out with a new device. It hasn’t failed to do so with its 2020 releases either, which include two of the most talked about phones in the budget segment, the Narzo 10 and the Narzo 10A.

Hence, we decided to put one Realme Narzo phone against its own sibling and help you evaluate which one suits you better as per your preferences. After a lot of initial issues because of the lockdown, Realme was able to successfully launch the two Narzo models on the 11th of May, 2020. Both are entry-level models, with the Narzo 10 being a slightly modified version of the more affordable Narzo 10A. The Narzo 10 costs Rs. 11,999 while the 10A costs only Rs.8,499. Although both the Realme Narzo phone models are amazing in their own right, here’s how they fare on paper.

Key specs

Starting with the display, both the Realme Narzo phone models have a 6.5-in full HD+ screen, which is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ and a resolution of 1600pX720p. That is a good screen specification, considering the price range.

Now, getting to the real core of it. On one hand is the Realme Narzo 10 with a MediaTek Helio G80 processor, while on the other hand the Narzo 10A carries an earlier version of the same, which is MediaTek Helio G70. Both are excellent processors, with the former being the better one. For graphics, the Narzo 10 has a Mali G52 GPU, while the Narzo 10A has an ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. While the 10A gets the lower processors, these are perfect for its memory and RAM capacities.

The Narzo 10A has a 3GB RAM and a 32GB internal memory, while the Narzo 10 has a 4GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. They both run on the Realme UI skin on top of Android 10 (Q).

Cameras

Time for the Realme Narzo 10 vs 10A camera contest. The former clearly wins this one with 4 rear cameras (48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP). The Narzo 10A, on the other hand, has 3 capable rear cameras (12MP + 2MP + 2MP). Both have a rear flash, but the Narzo 10 has a proper rear autofocus while the Narzo 10A has a phase-detection autofocus. The front camera of the Narzo 10 is a powerful 16MP shooter, while that of the Narzo 10A is a 5MP shooter.

Although the Narzo 10A has a lesser camera system in terms of megapixels, Realme cameras come with a quality assurance, thanks to positive brand reviews. If you are ready to buy a mobile on EMI, you can go for either, based on your budget and requirements. Neither will disappoint you and that is something we can say for sure.

These features don’t really differ much. Both the Realme Narzo phone models will give you a face unlock feature, fingerprint sensor, compass, proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor. The gyroscope is the only sensor that the Narzo 10 has but the Narzo 10A doesn’t. Both the phones have a highly powerful 5000 mAh, which will take care of all your charging woes and give your phone a long daily life.

The Realme Narzo 10 vs 10A contest isn’t even a real one. Your purchase decision just depends on whether you are willing to stretch your entry-level budget a little bit more.
