ZTE’s Nubia has announced a new mobile, Nubia Play 5G, which will debut in China on April 21, 2020. It is expected to be a mid-range offering targeted at the youth and will bring flagship specifications into an affordable price range. Nubia Play 5G

Camera

Nubia Play 5G carries a vertical quad-camera setup placed at the top portion of its rear panel. It has a 48MP primary sensor, which is most likely to be Sony’s IMX586. Although not confirmed officially, an ultra-wide-angle lens, a depth sensor, and a macro module are anticipated. Rumors say that the camera will support panorama and HDR shooting modes. No official confirmation is available about Nubia Play 5G’s processor. Still, it is speculated that the phone will have Snapdragon 765G chipset under the hood. The reason behind this is that the manufacturers have confirmed 5G network support for the smartphone. Other than Snapdragon 865, the 765/765G is the only Qualcomm SoC that supports 5G connectivity and is the standard midrange chipset. Thus, along with a QC 4.0 compatibility, the projected mid-level price range points toward 765G. Android 10 is the forecast on the operating system front. As for the memory capacity, 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/ 256GB storage variants are predicted.
