Daiwa D55QUHD-M10 and D65QUHD-M10 Smart TVs launched in India starting from Rs. 34,990

Daiwa has launched 4K UHD smart TVs -- 65-inch (D65QUHD-M10, 165cm) and the 55-inch (D55QUHD-M10, 140cm) -- in India this week. While the 55-inch TV is available at Rs 34,990, the 65-inch model is priced at Rs 51,990. The smart TV’s are powered by Android 9.0 TV operating system and comes with a 4K UHD resolution(3840*2160p).

The visual experience is enriched by Quantum Luminit Technology and HDR10 Display. As for the sound experience, the smart TV uses dbx-tv audio technology. The smart TV also comes with 20-Watt speakers and a built in soundbar. Besides, the psycho acoustic algorithm increases the sound quality while AI sound control lowers the sound of commercials.

Besides, the 4K Smart TVs, runs on a A55 Quad Core Processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM, 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB, Wifi, 1 Optical Output.

Certified Apps & Content available

Powered by Cloud TV certified AOSP the Smart TV offers several certified apps such as Voot, Sun NXT, Jio Cinema,Hotstar, Zee5, Sony Liv and so on. Both the smart TVs support Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube apps.

Daiwa also gives its users free news streaming along with 5 apps: Docubay, Epic On, Al Jazeera Network, Gemplex, Flickstree. In all, over 17,00,000 hours of content along with 10000+ free movies from 16 different languages and multiple genres come along with a Daiwa smart TV.

Manufactured in India

With increasing awareness about the country of origin of products, consumers are opting for Indian manufactured products. Bajaaj also added that the lockdown has pushed the consumption of the OTT Content which has in turn pushed the demand for Smart TVs. “We are glad to present our range of Smart TVs at the most affordable price points with state of the art features, for the Indian consumers,” Bajaaj said according to the company website.

Earlier models

Daiwa’s D32SBAR Smart LED TV was launched last year with a price tag of Rs 10,000. It had a display resolution of 1,366x768. The Smart TV was powered by a 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 quad-core processor. Besides, the TV came with three HDMI and two USB ports. You can easily purchase it by opting for an EMI if you do not have all the cash at the moment.

It also had singular RF, AV, optical ports and LAN ports along with a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a microSD card expansion slot. The TV comes with WiFi connectivity. In 2018, the company released a 55-inch LED TV with 4k panel and Android interface. The smart TV was priced at Rs Rs 36,999.
